Built in 1871, this home had three previous additions and has grown with the families who have lived there. Brooks Home Renovations was hired to blend all of the spaces and increase functionality and aesthetic in the main living space. Elements and materials of the original space were taken into consideration for the design and finishes of the project. The team at Brooks Home Renovations lifted the ceiling to create a more welcoming entry and opened up the doorway to the kitchen to allow more light in the home. The extra doorway provided the opportunity to use this space as a dining area and expand the kitchen. The kitchen was reoriented to allow for more space and a new patio door was installed for additional light and allow the family to enjoy the scenic view. There are many other unique touches to this remodeled home that you will want to see in person as this patchwork house has become a home.
