This home was built in the 1980s and is in Cape Cod style. The kitchen, living room and hallway all had a different type of flooring. Soffits above the kitchen cabinets were present as well as a peninsula. The flow of the home presented challenges with small passageways from the kitchen to the living room. The peninsula created a bottleneck to the fireplace and sitting area in the home.

Brooks Home Renovations (BHR) removed all of the soffits above the cabinets, updated all of the lighting and installed one type of flooring throughout all the aforementioned spaces to create a cohesive look. BHR added 10 feet of cabinetry and entertainment space to a wall that previously was being underutilized. The opening to the living room was enlarged and the peninsula was removed to create easier movement from room to room. Granite countertops were installed to create a more modern look. Ruvati sinks with many unique features were installed as well. This home showcases how any home can be transformed into something amazing by Brooks Home Renovations.
